At Deep Learning @ UGA (DeLUG), we aim to build a community of undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and others at UGA who are interested in deep learning. Whether you are new to Python or an experienced PhD student, there is room in DeLUG for you. Each semester, we present a full sequence of workshops from introductory Python to backpropagation and building neural networks. We also host panels on topics such as being a deep learning researcher.
What is Deep Learning?
Deep learning refers to a subclass of artificial intelligence algorithms used to model complex data spaces through successive (aka “deep”) transformations on samples from those spaces.
